The Greatway Kick-Off 2025 event was a virtual powerhouse of inspiration, innovation, and collaboration. With over 1,300 attendees tuning in from across Canada, the day-long event on Saturday, February 8, 2025, set the stage for a year of growth, transformation, and legacy-building. Focusing on Building Legacy Leaders, this kick-off wasn’t just about setting goals for the year—it was about empowering agents to create meaningful change, both in their businesses and in the lives of their clients.

From the moment the virtual doors opened, the energy was palpable. Attendees were so eager and were greeted with upbeat music, and an interactive chat room.   • New E&O licensing sponsorship through BFL Canada, ensuring agents stay compliant while expanding their offerings.

  • Expanded new travel insurance offerings via Travcare, focusing on visitors to Canada and Tugo Insurance, catering to diverse client needs.

  • Amazing non-life insurance offerings adding to a growing toolbelt of Greatway agents, like Property, Home, Car Insurance through their partner providers, from Synex Insurance.

These updates underscored Greatway’s dedication to equipping agents with cutting-edge tools to better serve their clients and grow their businesses.

Inspiring Leadership Training: John Maxwell Returns

The highlight of the morning was undoubtedly the return of John C. Maxwell, whose session on leadership principles ignited a fire in every attendee. Maxwell’s teachings centred on timeless concepts like servant leadership, resilience, and the power of influence.

Attendees also said that they found the Advocis interview, conducted by Pearl Rebollos, Chief Distribution Officer of Greatway, with Andy Cameron, Director of Business and Professional Development and Kelly Gorman CEO of Advocis, insightful offering valuable industry perspectives. The videos from partners like Cooperators and Home Equity Bank, showcasing their commitment to supporting Greatway agents garnered excitement and leaving the agents want to contract with them sooner rather than later.
